I did a thing on Saturday: I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology. 

Merriam-Webster defines the word sabbatical as “a leave or change from a normal routine (as of employment). The origin is Sabbath, the Hebrew word meaning “rest.”

One of the greatest, and underutilized, perks of teaching is the opportunity to take a sabbatical. I am, at my core, someone who loves to learn myself, but equally as important I love to help others learn.
